Thomas Ahn – Director
Thomas is the founder and CEO of Mad Ventures, Inc. and directs the overall vision and operation of the company. He is an active entrepreneur, an expert in technology research and also in nurturing technology start-ups. Thomas has successfully incubated several IT companies in Korea including Mobile Culture, iCity and Acrotech. Prior to Mad Ventures, he was a venture capitalist with Hanmi Technology Investment and has taught various topics in entrepreneurship at the Korean Venture Capital Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Science from POSTECH in Korea and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria in Canada.
Kathy O’Donoghue – Advisor and Strategy Consultant
Kathy is an experienced software development leader who has managed technology products and projects for companies such as Electronic Arts, Nortel Networks, Pfizer, NEC and SAP (Business Objects, Crystal Decisions). Products ranged from Dentyne & Trident chewing gum, mobile software features, Crystal Reports, to video games and lottery systems. Kathy implemented a number of international large scale government lottery systems.
Kathy was a Development Director at Electronic Arts building video games such as SSX (Snowboarding), Need For Speed (Racing), and Virtual Me (Avatars). Kathy has a B. Sc. in Computer Science and her current passions are mobile technology, gaming and enabling technologies for environmental and social responsibility. Angela, Bruce and Kathy worked together at Electronic Arts. When not working, you can find Kathy on the golf course.
Michele Macready – Advisor
Michele is an experienced entrepreneur and high-tech leader. Her clients know her as a trusted advisor, someone who can make the impossible happen, and as an extraordinary facilitator who can reach consensus with diverse groups.
Michele’s background includes leading a global initiative for Electronic Arts to develop a pioneering application on Salesforce’s Force.com platform. Her strategy consulting background includes Q Networks and the Strategy Institute of the Boston Consulting Group.
Michele’s product development experience includes executive roles at Bios Group, where she led global outsourced teams to develop innovative solutions for Fortune 500 clients. As Client Partner for Cambridge Technology Partners, Michele delivered the largest fixed-time fixed-price technology project in their history, and delivered trading systems for Wall Street investment banks.
